DIVA Donations a 501c3 charity and formal clothing closet that provides formal wear and accessories for dances/ events
for girls in need within our community. DIVA Donations started from 15 dresses in a young girls closet and a mother and
daughter with a divinely inspired idea
It has continued to grow and serve over 507 girls in our community. We serve The Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana
county areas as well as some parts of Pa. Volunteers provide a Cinderella
experience to everyone who comes through our doors.
DIVA girls are able to choose from close to 1,000 dresses at this time. These dresses have been donated by young girls in our community and local businesses in our tri county area that wanted to see these dresses get another life. Our DIVAs are required to place a small deposit on the gowns for the time of the loan. When the items are returned so another girl can use them the DIVA receives a partial refund of the deposit or if they donate 1-2 hours helping in the closet a full refund is given. Shoes, purses, and jewelry are available in the closet as well. Dress sizes range from 00-28.
Vendors provide our girls corsages, hairstyling and nails and tanning at special
DIVA rates. . All money collected goes to maintain our dresses and the DIVA Donations organization .
DIVA Donations is always accepting donations such as gowns,jewelry,shoes,and accessories as well
as monetary donations. We have several drop off locations in the Mahoning, Columbiana , and
Trumbull county areas.
We also welcome local businesses and organizations who would like to help us in our mission.
We sell donated vintage clothing to fund our mission.
